It has been a while now since I started doing research about Zygors Guide so I could review it here. One interesting thing just happened recently. I heard from a newbie who said he made it to level 80 in four days and 8 hours with no refer a friend. Of course he was using the Zygor guide. What he said was “The Zygor guide owns leveling.” I have to agree with him.

I think it is good to talk about some of the extras they throw in when you get the guides, because some of them are really very valuable in terms of speeding up how fast you advance.

Last time I already talked about the Food and Drink Stats guide, well there are two others.

There is an Auctioneer Appraiser Guide that shows you how to make the most out of the time you spend at the Auction House, to help you make a lot more gold in as short a period of time as possible.

And also there is Zygor’s Talent Advisor. Where to put your talent points may be one of the most important aspects of the entire game.

Whether PVP or Solo leveling, this is something you can’t do without if you want to put your talent points in the very best places.

I could tell that the people who put Zygor Guide together really have their heart and soul into the game. Not only does it show in the guides themselves, but also in the support they give out to their customers. They have an online forum which is a great place to ask questions and get answers from guys who know what they’re talking about. You may hear back from ZG Support, or possibly another top level player, because they are on the forum pretty often.

You want to know what my number one complaint is about the guides? They almost make it too easy. Not that I miss all the grinding frustration I used to suffer with. But using the guides is kind of like you suddenly acquire super powers. A lot of the challenges are gone. But still, I would never go back to the old way.

As I said earlier, a lot of people are worried about Zygor guide because they think it is the kind of illegal world of warcraft addon that will get their account banned by Blizzard. But it is not correct to call Zygor Guide WOW illegal addons.  This gets kinda complicated, but in my humble opinion (and understand I’m not a lawyer, so this is not legal advice) what’s illegal is for anybody to sell a WOW addon, and that’s how Zygor’s guides are 100% legal.

If this is too confusing, they explain it better on  Zygor Guide’s website…

Anyway, I want to give you some impressions I have after using the guide for a while. One problem I have found with it is that they don’t tell you to use the Hearthstone enough. I think this is because they base their use of hearthing on a cooldown of one hour. But the Hearthstone actually has a half hour cooldown now, so you could even teleport twice as much as they say if you needed to.  But that is only my two cents worth.

One thing I really thought was powerful was Zygor’s advice about the foods your character eats in the game. I didn’t really believe this at first, but it’s working out for the best now that I’m following the plan. How it works is that different characters have different foods that they should eat. If you eat the right ones, you can literally trim off hours of leveling time.

How did I find out about this phantom fact? It’s in a bonus that Zygor is giving away when you buy their guides. They call it their “Food and Drink Stats Guide” and it’s one of the extras that they were throwing in with your purchase. It least they still had them on the last time I checked.

It truly makes a difference in the game when you do what they suggest on what to drink and what to eat, when to eat them, and why.  I know it sounds a bit flaky, but this really is powerful knowledge.

Hi, this is Jon, and like I said my world pretty much orbits around World of Warcraft. So when I found out about the new Zygor Guides, I totally had to know whether they were as good as they say. You know, like they can just about zap a newbie into being a top power leveler.

So what you are getting here is my uncensored review of what I really think about the Zygor Guides. But let me give you fair warning. This is a review. So if you are looking for the official Zygor Guides website then I will give you the link:

So how come I went to the trouble of putting up this site? For one very good reason. You see, when I was thinking about whether or not I should spend my money to buy the Zygor Alliance Guide or the Horde Guide (or both), what I encountered was pretty vague. Like there wasn’t a lot of real, impartial review information available. That’s why I’m doing it now – writing one and getting it up online quickly. So I can help other people who are in the same boat that I was. And if you’re anything like me, you don’t want a lot of filler. So I’m going to cut to the chace pretty fast.

But that doesn’t mean I will be writing a one-sided report. On the contrary. I am giving you the straight facts as I see them regarding both the bad points as well as the good ones when it comes to Zygor Guides. So, if you are looking for a hatchet job or a whitewash, then you should look elsewhere.

How can a player with virtually no experience in the game ever hope to power level your characters up to 80 in only 7 days?

Well, for a start, they don’t have you picking up every junk quest there is. Instead, they point you on a very specific questing path that ignores the useless, time-consuming ones. Sure, you can still enjoy the game, but without worrying about what you ought to do next.

I used to get so frustrated sometimes, I felt like I just wanted to quit. But now that I know what’s gold and what’s crap, I am really getting one heck of a lot more enjoyment from the game.

The way it works is really cool. It’s very fast to install. Then, when you log in, the guide shows you the best route to go, who you should talk to, what quests to accept, which creatures you should kill, which items you should pick up, etc. etc.

After you level up, the guide literally tells you where is the best place to invest your talent points.

Does this sound too good to be true? If you’re like me, you might be worrying that maybe this is the kind of add-on that can get your account banned.  Well, after checking on this very carefully, it seems this is the only leveling guide that is legitimate, because it is not an illegal add-on. Instead, the people at Zygor have worked very carefully within the guidelines set out by the Blizzard Entertainment company, making sure the people who use it are not going to get into any trouble. They guarantee it is not going to get your account banned.
